2015-16 Striker Ice Suits . . . The Prism Jacket is ultra light and extra warm with Sureflote™ flotation assist can be worn in the coldest conditions. The Prism suit from Striker Ice gives you peace of mind as well as superior protection from the elements. The waterproof/breathable shell is fully seam taped so it can serve as rain gear. The underarm vents help moderate inside temperatures. The Sureflote™ flotation assist system, when used as a jacket & bib combo, can keep the average person afloat for two hours or more. It is not a PFD but in most circumstances will give you enough time to get to safety.
The Prism Jacket features a 320D Tussor shell, poly-tricot body lining, 210T sleeve lining, lycra inside cuffs with adjustable closure and front zipper storm flap. For ventilation, the Prism Jacket has "through-to-skin" underarm zip vents. And of course there are plenty of pockets to haul what you need. The matching Prism Drop-Seat Bibs have extra flotation material in the seat and knees for additional protection. The bibs also have full length leg zippers, 600D Endura knees and an adjustable inseam/cuff. Easy to use velcro closures on storm flaps. Both the jacket and bib have 150g of Thermadex insulation to provide additional warmth and separation barriers for more comfort.

The Striker Ice Predator suit is designed for the active fisherman and for less extreme weather conditions. This is not a wimpy shell suit. The light weight 320D shell fabric and 100g Thermadex insulation make this a light weight suit but it is still a heavy weight when it comes to cold weather performance! If you are moving around punching holes or hoofing it from spot to spot, or if you spend more time in a shelter, this suit might be for you. Although our suits are not temperature rated, you can always add a base layer and mid layer combo to boost the rating of this suit from 10 below to arctic temperatures.
HYDRAPORE system technology is specifically designed to provide maximum protection against extreme weather elements. HYDRAPORE has a superior 5000/5000 rating for resisting water penetration and for breathability.
Thermadex brand thermal insulation is designed for use in outdoor active wear where light weight, superior insulating performance and minimal loft is required. Thermadex provides a high level of warmth in active applications such as in alpine skiing, snow boarding, snowmobiling and nordic skiing. Thermadex provides warmth, softness and breathability without the bulk.

SUREFLOTE is made from expanded low density polyethylene foam that traps air in closed cells constructed into multi-layer membranes to create internal air pockets for added buoyancy. The SUREFLOTE membrane is moisture resistant and provides superior user mobility and added protection in the extreme cold. The combined jacket and pant/bib with SUREFLOTE provide flotation assistance for up to two hours for an average person. SUREFLOTE is designed to provide added buoyancy to a person's body weight for flotation assistance. An average sized adult needs 7-12 lbs of buoyancy to keep their head afloat. Suits with the SUREFLOTE system are designed to provide approximately 10-12 lbs of buoyancy depending on size and style.
Important: SUREFLOTE is Not Coast Guard Approved. This item is not approved by the Coast Guard as a personal flotation device or life preserver. SUREFLOTE may be rendered ineffective in adverse conditions such as strong water currents. The SUREFLOTE system does not protect against hypothermia in extreme cold water.
Striker Brands LLC has patents pending for a number of technical features found in this garment.
